The front door is on the far right behind the posts.  Note the stained glass window.  The bench was made by Douglas Brooks for my kitchen remodel and is only temporarily residing in that location. The foreground shows the back side of the living room with the pocket door between it and the dining room.

The previous owner painted everything white, and I have not had the time nor energy to strip the posts and moldings to expose the natural wood.

The west side of the living room has two stained glass windows surrounding a natural stone fireplace. Oh well, the previous owner painted the mantle white as well as the fireplace.  Also note that the glass fronted shelving is missing.
