Tornado on the Prarie Near Miami, TX 5/28/94
This shows the tornado at around 8:15
PM CDT with John Monteverdi video taping it. Since the tornado
caused no damage to structures and never passed into an urban
area, it was given the lowest F-scale rating of F0. However, the
debris field from 10 km away was so obvious and the rotation even
more so, the opinion of the experienced chasers present (besides
me and Thom Trimble, also Mike Foster) that this tornado, if in
an urban area, would have caused at least F2-F3 damage.
