Part I. General Stuff

1. Read through the materials sent to you by Phil N. Good, Chair, Board of Certified Consulting Meteorologists for the AMS. Be prepared to discuss in detail what will be involved as part of the next step in your work to be presented as part of the application process.

2. Download the Excel template for a billing form. You can either use this one, customized to your firm, or you can design one from scratch. You do not need to submit anything to me at this time, however. Just download it. As part of the homework due next week (10 March) you will need to submit an invoice to Emily Cheetham indicating receipt of your retaining fee, as discussed in class, and to indicate that you have already charged off 3 h work.

Part II. Setting Up A Plan For Consulting Report

Note: In answering these questions, specifically relate your responses to the Rider v. Trough Tool company project. We have already discussed this in detail in our truncated class section of 2/25/04.
